Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Leak Indicates 60W Charging, Snapdragon Power, and Identical Cameras

Samsung’s next flagship lineup is almost here, and with the Galaxy S26 series expected to launch on February 25, leaks are coming in thick and fast. A massive new leak has now revealed detailed specifications for all three models — Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra — giving us a very clear idea of what Samsung fans can expect.

While there are some welcome upgrades, especially in performance and charging, the overall picture suggests a familiar strategy rather than a bold reinvention.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Performance and Hardware Overview

As anticipated, Samsung is being cautious yet effective in one area: performance.. According to the leak, all Galaxy S26 models will be powered by cutting-edge chipsets.

In the US market, the entire S26 lineup will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, ensuring top-tier performance for gaming, AI features, and multitasking. In Europe and other regions, Samsung is sticking to its dual-chip strategy: the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will use the Exynos 2600, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon chip globally.

Since Snapdragon CPUs are frequently chosen for their long-lasting performance and efficiency, this is huge news for Ultra customers everywhere.

Memory and storage configurations remain consistent across the base and Plus models, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage options. Importantly, Samsung appears to have finally dropped the unpopular 128GB base variant, a move that will be widely welcomed by power users.

Display, Battery, and Charging: Small Gains, One Big Upgrade

Samsung has made subtle but noticeable changes to display sizes this year. The Galaxy S26 now features a 6.3-inch AMOLED 2X display, up slightly from its predecessor, with a 2340 × 1080 resolution. The S26 Plus comes with a 6.7-inch display, while the S26 Ultra tops out at 6.9 inches, both sporting sharp 3120 × 1440 resolutions.

All three models support 120Hz refresh rates, AMOLED 2X technology, and Gorilla Armor 2, ensuring durability and smooth visuals. However, there’s still no confirmation on whether Samsung’s rumored privacy display feature will make the cut.

Battery sizes scale predictably across the lineup:

  • Galaxy S26: 4,300mAh
  • Galaxy S26 Plus: 4,900mAh
  • Galaxy S26 Ultra: 5,000mAh

Charging is where the Ultra truly stands out. While the base S26 disappoints with a modest 25W wired charging, the Plus improves to 45W, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra jumps to a much-needed 60W fast charging. Wireless charging remains at 15W for S26 and Plus, with the Ultra enjoying 25W wireless charging.

Galaxy S26 Camera Setup: Powerful, but Very Familiar

If you were hoping for dramatic camera upgrades, this leak may leave you underwhelmed. The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus both feature a triple-camera setup, including:

  • 50MP main camera
  • 10MP telephoto lens
  • 12MP ultra-wide lens
  • 12MP front-facing selfie camera

The Galaxy S26 Ultra continues to be the camera king on paper, boasting:

  • 200MP main wide-angle camera
  • 50MP periscope telephoto (5x optical zoom)
  • 50MP ultra-wide camera
  • 10MP telephoto lens (3x optical zoom)

While the hardware closely mirrors last year’s setup, minor aperture tweaks could improve low-light and overall image quality. Still, these are refinements rather than revolutionary changes.

Final Thoughts Ahead of Launch

Based on this leak, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra looks like a polished evolution rather than a bold leap forward. Snapdragon chips everywhere, faster 60W charging, and refined displays will appeal to loyal fans, but conservative camera upgrades and slow charging on the base model may disappoint some buyers.

With just days to go until the official reveal, we won’t have long to see how accurate these leaks turn out to be.
