Metal Design, Powerful Camera System, and 144Hz AMOLED Display

For Nothing Technology, a smartphone manufacturer renowned for its futuristic and transparent products, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro represents a dramatic change in appearance. The new Phone 4a Pro features a sleek metal body with a distinctive transparent portion surrounding its striking camera module, in contrast to previous Nothing phones that focused on a wholly translucent design.
The Pro variant, which was unveiled alongside the Nothing Phone 4a, is one of the most anticipated mid-range smartphone releases of the year because it places a strong emphasis on camera capability, enhanced display technology, and high-end hardware.

Premium Metal Design With Signature Transparent Camera Module

One of the most noticeable changes in the Phone 4a Pro is its aluminum unibody construction. Unlike previous models with fully transparent backs, the new device replaces most of the glass panel with metal for better durability and improved heat management.

However, Nothing has preserved its iconic style by keeping the transparent camera module, which also houses the company’s recognizable Glyph lighting system. This design keeps the phone visually distinctive while adding a more premium and durable feel.

The device measures just 7.95mm thick, making it impressively slim for a smartphone with such advanced hardware.

Advanced “Pro 3 Camera System”

The biggest highlight of the Phone 4a Pro is its powerful triple-camera system designed to elevate smartphone photography.

The camera setup includes:

  • 50MP main camera with a Type 1/1.56 **Sony image sensor and 24mm f/1.9 lens
  • 50MP periscope telephoto camera with an 80mm equivalent focal length
  • 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view
  • 32MP front camera for high-resolution selfies and video calls

The periscope telephoto camera supports an impressive 140× digital zoom, the highest zoom capability ever introduced in a Nothing smartphone.

AI Photography and Ultra XDR Imaging

The Phone 4a Pro uses Nothing’s advanced TrueLens Engine 4, which combines multi-frame RAW processing with a 12-layer AI segmentation system.

A standout feature is Ultra XDR photography, which captures 13 RAW images at different exposures and merges them into a single image with enhanced dynamic range and brighter highlights.

For motion photography, the system captures around 90 frames in three seconds, allowing users to create detailed motion photos with sound. The device also supports 4K Ultra XDR video recording at 30fps, delivering vibrant colors and improved lighting balance.

Additional AI features include:

  • AI Photo Eraser
  • Professional camera presets
  • Adjustable photography controls
  • Custom watermarks for sharing

Large 144Hz AMOLED Display

The Phone 4a Pro’s front has a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 460 pixels per inch and 1.5K resolution. With a refresh rate of 144 Hz, the screen offers incredibly fluid gaming and scrolling.
Even more impressive is its 5,000-nit peak brightness, making HDR content incredibly vivid and easy to view even in bright sunlight.

Powerful Performance With Snapdragon Chip

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, delivering strong performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI-driven features.

Combined with its premium design, advanced camera technology, and high-refresh-rate display, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro stands out as a stylish and powerful smartphone aimed at users who want both cutting-edge design and professional-grade photography.
