  • Same 4,608 CUDA cores
  • Built on the GB206 silicon (shared with the desktop RTX 5060)

This means that even with the additional memory, the mobile RTX 5070 still falls behind its desktop counterpart in raw performance.

Here’s where things get complicated. The modular laptop company Framework Computer was among the first to adopt this upgraded GPU in its Framework Laptop 16.

But the pricing is hard to ignore:

That’s a 71% price increase for essentially the same GPU with more memory.
